The University of Kentucky Men's Lacrosse team has been around since the '80s. For many years, the team competed in the National College Lacrosse League (NCLL). In the fall of 2008, the Wildcats joined the Southeastern Lacrosse Conference (SELC) and the Men's Collegiate Lacrosse Association (MCLA). The Cats compete in the Central Region of Division 1 of the SELC. Kentucky is a competitive, club team that welcomes all UK students that wish to play.
Recent News Game vs University of Louisville - Jan 28, 2010The date and time for the game vs University of Louisville has been changed to April 16, 2010 (4/16/10) at 7:00 pm. The game will be played at St. Xavier High School. Home Game vs Toledo - Nov 23, 2009 A home game against Toledo was added to the schedule. 3/11/10 - 7:00 PM EST - vs Toledo - Home Updated 2010 Spring Schedule - Nov 19, 2009 The schedule for the upcoming 2010 spring lacrosse season has been updated. It is very possible that this may slightly change but modifications will be posted. Here is the schedule: 2/13/10 - 3:00 PM EST - vs Clemson - @Tennessee Xavier and Louisville Games This Weekend - Nov 2, 2009 This upcoming weekend the UK Men's Lacrosse Team will be playing Xavier at Home at the Johnson Center Field and Louisville at St. Xavier High School in Louisville, KY. The Xavier game will be on Friday, November 6th at 6:30 pm, and the Louisville game will be on Sunday, November 8th at 2:30 pm. Directions to the Johnson Center Field: Johnson Center Field - University of Kentucky Parking will be available alongside the field on University Drive or in the faculty lot up Complex Drive (found off of University Dr.) after the tennis courts.
Directions to St. Xavier High School: Directions to Field in Knoxville - Oct 23, 2009 The Cats will be playing two fall games in Knoxville, TN this Saturday, October 24. 1:00pm vs. University of Tennessee 3:00pm vs. Tennessee Wesleyan University The game field is located on UT's campus and you can get there by following these directions: 2111 Volunteer Blvd., Knoxville, TN 37996 is the address if you want to use google maps or GPS. The TRECS turf field is directly adjacent to the TRECS Student Athletic Center and the Aquatic Center. Parking is limited in the front lot, parking is more abundant on the backside of the field on the road. You will see some frat houses that line the street and you have to walk around the field to the entrance. If you have any problems finding the field, please feel free to call Coach Knight (502)777-6820, before 12:00 Saturday. Hope to see you there.
